Ever have that feeling?

It's that feeling when you like someone, but they don't even realize you exist. I'm sure many of you have ... I know I have (well to a point hehe). So here's a poem I wrote back in 2003 that might reflect how you felt (or how you feel). Enjoy.

Hidden Emotions

Have you ever had that feeling
Inside of your head
When you're wondering what
That "certain someone" had said?
When you're nervous and you're shaky
And excited all at once,
But when it comes time to talk to them,
You act like a dunce.
You have these feelings for them ...
And you know it deep inside.
Yet you dodge around the topic ...
True emotions you do hide.
You shouldn't hide what you feel,
You should let it shine through.
I really ought to know because ...
I have a crush on you.
