It's Me

Ok ... so it's been a really REALLY long time since I've written ANY type of poetry. Well this inspiration came about ... right now actually hehe. I was just surfing the web ... about to go to sleep, when I just had these thoughts.

They are true ... and they do relate to something in my life. So I think that's why the words just kinda flowed.

It's Me

You are my friend, and I've known you a while.
But for some reason, my heart flutters when you smile.
You may not know it ... this might be outta the blue ...
But honestly I think I really like you.

These feelings I have are sorta hard to hide.
I'm not ready to reveal what I'm feeling inside.
The thoughts that I have are spinning 'round in my head.
Is it wrong to want to have my heart be fed?

You're sweet and sincere ... a really good catch.
I'm surprised that you haven't already found a match!
You don't need to look very far to see ...
That the one that you want is right here ... it's me.
